Girls' Tennis Goes 18-1 

Oakwood girls’ varsity tennis is wrapping up one of the best seasons in recent years, finishing 18-1 overall. For Lily McCloskey, the season isn’t over yet, she’ll represent Oakwood at the Division II State Championship Friday, Oct. 20. 

Girls' Golf Beats Waynesville 

The Jills beat the Spartans 222-231 at Majestic Springs Aug. 23.  

Boys' Golf Wins in League Opener 

Boys' varsity golf beats Bellbrook 157-172 in league opener. 

Girls' JV Soccer Beats Valley View 

JV beat Valley View 2-0 Wednesday, Aug. 30 at Lane Stadium.  

Field Hockey Begins With a Win 

Varsity and JV beat Bexley 2-1. 

Girls' Varsity Volleyball 1-0 in SWBL 

Girls will host Brookville Tuesday, Sept. 5 then travel to Eaton Thursday, Sept. 7.  

Varsity Volleyball Beats Brookville 3-0 

Girls improve to 6-2 after beating Brookville in straight sets. Girls play Thursday, 9/7 at Eaton and Saturday, 9/9 at CJ.  

Girls' JV Soccer Ties Valley View 1-1 

Strong defense held the Spartans to just one goal in the tie on Sept. 12. 

Look Who's 6-0! 

Girls' varsity volleyball moves to 6-0 in the SWBL and 9-3 overall. The Jills crushed visiting Franklin 25-9, 25-7 and 25-8 Thursday, Sept. 14  

Cross Country Runners Place in Cendarville 

Jills place 8th and Jacks 9th at Cedarville Friendship Invite running in D1! 

Girls' Volleyball Beats Bellbrook 

The Jills beat the defending SWBL Champion Bellbrook Eagles Tuesday, Sept. 19. In an exciting match with momentum swings, OHS won 25-22, 23-25, 23-25, 25-23 and 15-11. 

Heid Shoots Team Low for Jills 

Girls' varsity golf lost to Fairmont Wednesday, Sept. 20 198-236 at Dayton Country Club. Maggie Heid shot a 51 for the Jills' low score. 

Girls' Golf Wins Valley View Invite 

Oakwood girls' varsity golf are the winners of the Valley View Invitational. The girls wowed the field Thursday, Sept. 21 at the annual event. Laureen Hapgood was the tournament medalist. Maggie Heid placed fifth individually. Way to go Jills! 

Boys' Varsity Golf Wins SWBL 

The Oakwood High School boys' varsity golf team won the school's 40th SWBL league title at Beechwood Golf Course in Arcanum Thursday, Sept. 21. Five of the Jacks' golfers were recognized on the all-SWBL teams. Way to go boys on another fantastic sea 

Field Hockey Blanks Indian Hill 

Girls' varsity field hockey will be back in action Wednesday, welcoming league rival Ursuline to Lane Stadium for a 6:15 p.m. game. The girls' are fresh off a 5-0 win over Indian Hill Monday, Sept. 18 at home.  

Volleyball Moves to 12-4 

Girls' varsity volleyball is now 12-4 overall and 8-1 in SWBL after beating Eaton in straight sets 25-15, 25-17 and 25-11. The Jills have two games on the road with Franklin Tuesday, Oct. 3 and Bellbrook Thursday, Oct. 5.  


Girls' varsity tennis players are conference champs, after winning the SWBL tournament Wednesday, Sept. 27.  

OJHS Girls Win Field Hockey Tourney 

Congratulations to the OJHS field hockey team for defeating Kettering Middle School and winning the Middle School tournmanet. Way to go Jills! 

Hapgood Heads to Districts 

A big congratulations to Lauren Hapgood who is headed to the Southwestern District Golf Tournament Oct. 10 at Beavercreek Golf Club after finishing with the second lowest individual score at the sectional tournament. The girls' team finished in 9th place 

Girls' Volleyball Heads to Tourney 

Oakwood High School girls’ varsity volleyball is heading into tournament action as a #5 seed. The Jills will play #8 seed Hamilton Badin from the Greater Catholic League Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 8 p.m. at Lebanon High School.  

Girls' Tennis Heads to Districts 

OHS girls' varsity tennis players are heading to districts. Lily McCloskey, Natalie Connelly, Sidney Purks and Sophie Schnell will play Thursday, Oct. 12 at Lidner Family Tennis Center at 9 a.m. 

Boys' Golf Qualifies for State! 

With a team score of 342 and a third place finish at the Division II Southwest District Tournament, the Oakwood High School boys’ varsity golf team is heading to the State Tournament.
