Two OHS Field Hockey Players Headed to Earlham 

OHS seniors Hannah Grushon and Torrie Studebaker will be continuing their field hockey careers next year at Earlham College. The girls signed their letters of intent Thursday, May 16. 

Sandoval Commits to Bluffton 

OHS senior Landon Sandoval has committed to continue his education and play baseball next year at Bluffton University. Sandoval committed to the Beavers Monday, May 13. 

OHS Senior to Swim for Battling Bears 

Congratulations OHS senior Sammi Auditore! Auditore has committed to swim for the Battling Bears of Washington University next year. 

Boys' Tennis 2-0 in SWBL 

Varsity boys' tennis is 2-0 in the SWBL after beating Eaton 5-0 Monday, April 15. 

Shineman Becomes Leading Scorer 

OHS senior Taylor Shineman scored the 100th goal of her OHS career versus MVS. After two more games, Shineman scored eight more goals to make her the all-time leading OHS scorer with 108 goals.  

Girls' Lacrosse Beats MVS 

Varsity girls' lacrosse beat Miami Valley School 18-3 April 9. 

Shafer to Row at U.S. Naval Academy  

Congratulations to OHS senior Agatha Shafer who signed to row crew at the U.S. Naval Academy! Agatha volunteers at Brookdale Oakwood and her Brookdale friends and Naval Academy Alumni came to be a part of the signing! 

Varsity Boys Lacrosse 2-3 on Season 

Oakwood High School varsity boys’ lacrosse stands at 2-3 on the season after facing three teams in four days. The Jacks will face three more teams this week, hosting one game and on the road for two.  

Varsity Boys' Lacrosse goes 2-1 in Busy Week 

Varsity is fresh off a busy week, playing three games in four days. The boys beat Buckeye Valley 13-8 April 10, April 12, beat Seven Hills on the road 8 - 2 and lost to Turpin 14-1.

Athletic Physicals Scheduled for May 21 

Athletic physicals for all students in grades 6-11 will be held at OHS May 21. Sixth and seventh grade physicals are from 5-6 p.m.; eighth through eleventh grade, from 6-7 p.m. The cost is $15. Bring a physical form from your FinalForms account with you.
